Go live of the first phase of Wave 2 PCEHR electronic GP admission and discharge notification with discharge summaries at St Vincent's Public & Private Hospitals, Sydney. Plibersek announced as Minister for Health & Ageing

"In an announcement by Prime Minister Julia Gillard a few minutes ago, The Hon Tanya Plibersek MP will now occupy the office of Minister for Health and Ageing. The Hon Nicola Roxon MP has been promoted to Attorney General, replacing Robert McClelland. Plibersek was previously Minister for Social Inclusion and Minister for Human Services. The Hon Mark Butler MP will now be the Minister for Mental Health and Ageing & the Minister for Social Inclusion. Link."- HISA, 12/12/11

Wave 2 Sites PCEHR in Sydney - Emerging Systems involvement - June 2011

This project will establish a Wave 2 PCEHR community based around St Vincent's & Mater Health Sydney, in conjunction with partnering Divisions of General Practice, participating specialists and leading software vendors

The project will improve clinical communication across the project's footprint through the delivery of key PCEHR components including GP health summaries, GP referrals and interoperability between two major Australian shared electronic health record solutions.

Contract in South Sydney, Australia - 14th March 2008

Emerging Systems has been awarded a contract by the South Sydney, Australian Government to deploy our Nursing Information System into 17 public hospitals in the state.
